Executive Initiative call for submission of content from all creatives and writers.

You and I know that the pen is mightier than the sword. And you have the power to plant ideas in minds and stir up conversations. The content department of Executives Initiative needs your pen to stir up conversations and emotions around these issues.

Topic:

Rape, Sickle Cell, poverty, Mental health, Prison Reform, Cancer and Gender Equality.

Sickle Cell:
A short-story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• A story on the pain, experience and resentments of a sickle cell warrior
• A story on POV of a parents of a sickle Cell warriors.

Gender Equality
A short-story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• A shortstory about gender-base discriminations
• A piece that comments on feminism, sexism and misandry (from the POV of a male or female narrative voice).

Poverty
A short-story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• hunger and suffering
• A shortstory that inspires hope or rising above
• A shortstory about been pushed in vices.

Mental Health
A short-story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• Depression
• Anxiety disorder
• Personal disorder
• Bipolar disorder
• Eating Disorders

Prison Reform
A short story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• Wrongful imprisonment
• Inhumane living conditions of the prison
• A piece from the POV of an Inmate (Mental health and bullying) and stigma and reintegration into the society

Cancer
A short-story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• A short-story about Cancer from a patient or a survivor.
• A piece that depicts the emotional, financial and psychological blow to the love ones.

Rape
A short-story or a poem: this entry should be centered on any of the following;
• A piece that fully express the theme consents- male and female
• A piece around victim blaming and Nigeria responses to victim.
• A piece around marital rape, relationship rape and other gray matters.
• A piece on emotional, mental, social and physical effect of rape on victim.

Note: ensure that you research adequately and no wrong information is communicated

Requirements

Content should be under 30lines for poetry and not more than 750 words for shortstory.
