The Department of Art + Design invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship in Games. This postdoctoral fellowship is a mentored position where game faculty from Art + Design will guide talented scholars in their teaching and research with the objective of securing a full-time tenure-track faculty position elsewhere. Teaching responsibilities include teaching courses or recitations at our undergraduate degrees in Games or for our Master’s degree in Game Science and Design.
The teaching load is 3 classes per semester with the possibility of summer classes for extra compensation. We welcome fellows with expertise in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), creative coding, biometrics, AI in design (e.g., procedural content generation), game analytics, emerging technologies (VR/AR), and/or critical design.
Must have teaching experience at the college level and a doctorate completed prior to the start of the appointment. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal for two additional years. The starting date is September 1, 2020.
