Home | Online Courses | CENTER FOR CULTURAL INNOVATION (CCI) -PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM (PPP): A Free Webinar For Artists and Creatives

As a follow-up to CCI April 9th webinar, 3 Ways to Protect Your Art Business NOW, Claire Van Holland and Jill James revisit one aspect of the federal CARES Stimulus Expansion Act meant to help small businesses and sole-proprietors stay afloat during the economic crisis–the Paycheck Protection Program (or PPP).

• If you applied and received PPP funds, this webinar will provide guidance on how to make sure you get loan forgiveness.

If you did not receive PPP funds (or if the funds weren’t enough to cover your expenses), ways to generate revenue to keep your business afloat, temporarily or for the long-haul will be discussed.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and recorded for those who cannot attend live.

(You can watch a recording of the April 9th webinar and view slides from that presentation here.)

Claire Van Holland is a 50% left brain, right brain split and is equally creative as she is analytical. She has an extensive career building financial projections, budgets & analyses for corporate media. In 2011, she and her husband Aaron co-founded a furniture & home goods business, M.F.E.O., out of a shared love for interiors and beautiful design. After learning the operational challenges of being a small business owner, she applied her corporate finance & operational expertise to help streamline M.F.E.O. It was from this that the idea for her 2nd business, the CV Ledger, was born. Today Claire works closely with other creative based business owners, managing their numbers through accounting, bookkeeping and strategic consulting, helping them make more informed decisions using their analytics. To learn more visit Cv ledger
